When you need high-speed, high-volume and multipart
forms printing, you need the Fujitsu DL6400
power dot-matrix printer. Designed for busy data processing
and network environments, the DL6400 delivers draft quality print at
up to 504 characters per second on cut sheets and
continuous forms with up to eight parts. The
DL6400 easily handles every business printing need including insurance
claims, contracts, invoices, statements, shippers, purchase orders,
spreadsheets, reports, correspondence, and labels,
plus eight different types of bar codes. And
eight resident bitmap and three scalable fonts maximize print versatility.
("Bitmap" fonts are fonts in which the character images are defined by
bit maps. With bitmapped fonts, a separate set of
definitions is required for each point size.
For example, "Times 10" point and "Times 12" point are considered
separate fonts.)
The DL6400 incorporates a uniquely designed, straight
paper path that provides highly reliable handling
of a wide array of forms, papers and labels while making
paper jams a thing of the past. Choose the DL6400's
standard front feed with push-type bidirectional
tractor for continuos forms or add the optional cut sheet feeder
to feed high-volume letterhead and cut sheet paper stock reliably. Paper
parking eliminates the need for unloading continuous
forms to print stationery or other cut sheets.
Automatic skew detection ensures proper alignment of manually
fed single sheets, plus zero tear off and first-line print keep paper waste
to a minimum. Add a third paper path with the optional
rear tractor and, when printing cut sheet
stock, a paper stacker option is also available. The micro-adjustment
feature allows the user to make fine top-of-form adjustments and
short-form tear-off position adjustments without resetting the line counter.
A platen knob also comes standard on every
Fujitsu dot matrix printer. The platen knob
also acts identically to those found on typewriters. They allow users to
manually adjust the paper alignment. And with a smaller
footprint than most competitive printers,
you get it all in a lot less space.
